Seven months on, its singles market has done what post-launch markets always do: cooled, settled, and quietly opened a window. The top of this set is a genuine two-card race: Pikachu ex #276 and Mega Gengar ex #284 trade within RM20 of each other — though Gengar has been falling almost twice as fast over the last month.
Down 22–40% from the peak
Every card in the table above is cheaper than it was 30 days ago, and the fall from launch is bigger still:
- Pikachu ex #276 peaked on release day and now sits 22% below that peak.
- Mega Gengar ex #284 — the release-day number one — is 26% below its peak.
- Mega Charizard Y ex #294, the headline Mega Hyper Rare, has fallen furthest: 40% off its release-day price.
- Mega Dragonite ex #290 is the outlier — it spiked in mid-June, then gave back 24%.
This is the standard post-launch curve we described in our Pitch Black launch guide: hype pricing in week one, then months of settling as supply catches up. Nobody can call the floor — but if you've been waiting on an Ascended Heroes chase card, a market 22–40% off peak and still drifting down is what a buy window looks like. Watch your card's chart for a few flat weeks before committing.
The other 280 cards cost pocket money
Value in Ascended Heroes is extremely top-heavy. Of the 348 card variants we price daily, 265 trade under RM5 and 290 under RM20 — only 26 variants sit above RM100. If you want to play the set or fill a binder, almost all of it is cheap; our best Pokémon cards under RM100 list has the chase-adjacent picks that won't hurt.
