What to expect
Pitch Black sits in the 2026 Mega Evolution block that has driven much of this year's market. Expect the usual shape — a headline Mega chase card or two, alt-art Special Illustration Rares, and a long tail of playable rares that settle into affordable RM territory within a few weeks of release.
For Malaysian buyers
- Pre-orders open at local game shops (LGS) and on Shopee/Lazada ahead of the 17 July date — pre-order pricing is usually saner than launch-week hype.
- Launch week is the worst time to buy singles. Prices spike on hype and settle once supply lands. If you want a specific card, watching it for 2–3 weeks usually pays off.
