The next English Mega Evolution set is Mega Evolution: Delta Reign, releasing worldwide on 6 November 2026. Its main Japanese source — M6 Storm Emeralda — has been out since 31 July 2026, so Malaysian collectors can already preview the likely chase cards through imported Japanese product. Delta Reign is not a one-for-one copy: it also draws from the accompanying MEGA Starter Decks, and English promo placement differs.
Here's what's confirmed, what the Japanese market is paying, and how early English sealed estimates compare with converted US MSRP baselines — all in Ringgit.

What's in Delta Reign
Delta Reign is the Hoenn weather-trio set. The official announcement lists over 135 cards, including 14 Illustration Rares, 17 Ultra Rares and 6 Special Illustration Rares, more than 20 Trainer cards, four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex and six other Pokémon ex. The headline pieces:
- Mega Rayquaza ex is the confirmed headliner. Storm Emeralda gives it a Special Art Rare and gold Mega Ultra Rare; if those treatments carry into English, the equivalent names are Special Illustration Rare and Mega Hyper Rare. Until the English checklist lands, treat the Japanese artwork and numbering as a preview rather than a confirmed one-for-one card list.
- Mega Golisopod ex, Mega Golurk ex and Mega Malamar ex round out the confirmed Mega ex line-up. Golisopod and Golurk have Special Art Rare versions in Storm Emeralda.
- Groudon is an expected Illustration Rare in English boosters. Storm Emeralda's Kyogre Art Rare has instead been moved to the English ETB promo, so it will not be a normal booster pull. Raikou ex is currently the highest-priced Japanese non-Rayquaza chase.
- Zinnia's Trust is the leading Trainer chase in the Japanese market, with both Super Rare and Special Art Rare versions.
- Split "Legendary" Stadiums — Legendary Ocean Trench, Legendary Summit and Legendary Lava Lake each use two half-cards that combine in play. When a booster contains one half, both required halves are packed together.
The Elite Trainer Box comes with 9 booster packs, a full-art foil Kyogre promo, 65 sleeves and 40 Energy cards. Headline sealed products include the standard and Pokémon Center ETBs, Booster Box, Booster Bundle, Build & Battle Box, 3-pack blister (Seel), sleeved packs and checklane blisters. Build & Battle prerelease events run 24 October–1 November 2026 before the full 6 November street date.

English listings are appearing on TCGplayer, but the market is thin this far before release. The table compares the US MSRP/distributor-list baseline converted at 25 August's USD→MYR rate (4.0425) with the early TCGplayer market price or lowest listing:

These are estimates, not Malaysian recommended retail prices. Converted US MSRP is only a baseline; Malaysian distributor allocation, freight, taxes, currency movement and shop margin can push local prices higher. The TCGplayer side can also be materially wrong in either direction because early sales and listings are sparse. The premiums show how much scarcity and speculation are already priced in — they do not predict the November shelf price.
For context: a Pitch Black ETB, released six weeks ago, trades at ~RM270 today, and an Ascended Heroes ETB at ~RM679 seven months on. Delta Reign's current RM717 ETB signal is about 3.5 times its converted US MSRP baseline. Local stores may still apply a substantial Rayquaza-driven markup, especially under tight allocation, but buyers should compare several Malaysian quotes rather than treating a converted US marketplace price as the target. What the Japanese market is already telling us
Storm Emeralda has been trading for almost a month, giving us an early chase hierarchy. These are 25 August TCGplayer US market prices converted to Ringgit, not Malaysian shop prices and not predictions of the eventual English cards:

Three things stand out:
- It's a one-card set. The gold Mega Rayquaza ex is worth more than the next ten chase cards combined. Everything below the two Rayquazas is under RM330 — the same top-heavy shape as Ascended Heroes, where 265 of 348 variants trade under RM5.
- Japanese prices are not English forecasts. Supply, pull rates, language demand and launch hype differ, so an English card can open higher or lower. The Japanese ranking is only a working preview: Mega Rayquaza is the clear lead, Raikou ex is currently third, and Zinnia's Trust is the top Trainer chase. In English terminology, the expected gold Rayquaza would be MHR rather than the Japanese MUR.
- Box prices are not apples-to-apples. The ~RM643 Japanese figure is a converted US TCGplayer market price; one Malaysian import listing was ~RM500. A Japanese box has 30 five-card packs, while an English box has 36 ten-card packs plus Energy, with different collation and pull-rate expectations. Compare local landed prices, language preference and pack configuration before deciding which is better value.
For Malaysian buyers
- Compare several local pre-orders. Use the converted MSRP column as a baseline, then account for Malaysian freight, allocation and shop margin. A markup may be unavoidable on a Rayquaza set, but the current TCGplayer premium is not automatically a fair Malaysian price.
- Treat launch-week singles cautiously. Many chase cards in recent Mega Evolution sets opened on hype and later fell 20–40%, but that pattern is not guaranteed for every card.
